World connections

One of the main assets of Stargard is its accessibility. The City is situated cca. 36 km from Szczecin,
40 km from the border with Germany, 35 km from the international airport Szczecin-Goleniów, 120 km from ferry terminal in Świnoujście and approximately 180 km from Berlin. National roads number 10 and 20 provide an excellent connection with Warsaw, Gdańsk and other main cities of the country.

Stargard is an important railroad junction in the region. The main Świnoujście- Szczecin- Poznań railway line runs just through the city and provides access also to other main Polish cities. The number of international connections provided by the Szczecin-Goleniów airport is still increasing.

Moreover, the proximity of Berlin makes it possible to use services of two large, international airports.
